o MOCA SHANGHAI.

Vale a pena transcrever algumas palavras do chairman, mr. Samuel Kung:

"The establishment of MOCA Shanghai comes at an interesting time. After over two decades of economic growth, China enters a new stage of development. It is at the present that the innate creativity and artistic innovation of her citizens can be actively expressed and promoted. As one of the leading cities in China, Shanghai has taken a decisive step in recognizing and nurturing the importance of the arts, and we are proud to be a forerunner of this important trend.

Thus, MOCA Shanghai is the first contemporary art museum in Shanghai. In the same way of Shanghai's growing influence, we hope to act as a catalyst in the arts arena and cultivate cultural dialogue".

" Since 1990, their works have been shown internationally, and in 1993 they received the Grand Prix de Photographie of Paris. In 2000, their artistic achievement brought them many major exhibitions, including a retrospective at the New Museum in New York".
